The client

What it is

The client is a window the size of a notification in the corner of the practice computer. It shows which practice software it is reading, which patient is open, how much of that chart is read, and what it is reading now. One click starts a visit for the open patient; one click pauses the reading.

What it reads

The window of the practice software, and nothing else. Every document that is shown becomes part of Mosaic's reading: typed, dated, citable. Scanned letters and faxes are read like typed ones. The client writes nothing into the practice software; the chart stays the practice's chart.

What Mosaic knows, and what not

Mosaic knows what has been on the screen. When a patient is new to Mosaic, the client reads the whole file the first time it is opened, page by page, and says so on the patient page: 14 of 14 documents read. For the patients of the day it does this before you arrive. What was never opened is not known, and the answers say so: a value that is not documented is reported as not documented, never guessed.

Setting it up

1. 01
   Install once per computer

   The installer comes with the onboarding. It runs on Windows, next to TurboMed, medatixx, CGM or any other practice software.

2. 02
   Sign in with the practice code

   The client belongs to the practice. Each physician and team member signs in with their own login.

3. 03
   Choose what it reads

   The window of the practice software. It pauses with one click and shows when it is reading.

4. 04
   Let it read the day

   Before the first visit it reads the charts of the patients on today's schedule, so that the summaries are ready.
