The client
A small program on the practice computer. It reads what is on the screen, the way you read it, and keeps Mosaic’s reading of the chart current. It writes nothing into the practice software.
The practice software on the left, the client in the corner: it shows which patient is open, how much of the chart is read, and what it is reading now.
What it does
Every document that is shown becomes part of Mosaic’s reading of the chart: typed, dated, citable. Scanned letters are read like typed ones.
The patient open in the practice software is the patient a new visit or a new question is for. You never assign by hand.
One click starts the recording for the open patient, on this computer, on the tablet in the room or on the phone.
What Mosaic knows, and what not
Mosaic knows what has been on your screen
A chart is read as far as it has been shown. When a patient is new to Mosaic, the client reads the whole file the first time it is opened, page by page, and says so on the patient page: 14 of 14 documents read. For the patients of the day it does this before you arrive. Where your practice software offers an interface, Mosaic uses it and reads the chart in full without the screen.
What was never opened is not known, and the answers say so: a value that is not documented is reported as not documented, never guessed.
Setting it up
Install once per computer
The installer comes with the onboarding. It runs on Windows, next to TurboMed, medatixx, CGM or any other practice software.
Sign in with the practice code
The client belongs to the practice. Each physician and team member signs in with their own login; access and roles are set in the practice.
Choose what it reads
The window of the practice software, and nothing else. It pauses with one click and shows when it is reading.
