How the workspace is organized

Everything belongs to a patient; the conversation is how you work with it. New conversation for a question, New visit for a patient in the room.

Four things, one order

Patients
The chart as Mosaic has read it, the visits, the conversations and what was shared. The patient is the folder everything else lives in.
Conversations
A question and its answer, with follow-ups. A conversation is about one patient, or about medicine in general when no patient is attached.
Visits
A conversation with the patient in the room: recorded, transcribed, turned into the note and the documents. Every visit has a patient.
Documents
What came out of conversations and visits: drafts, signed documents, shared documents. Each one is listed with the visit, with the patient and in Documents.

New conversation or New visit

New conversation is for a question: about the patient open on your screen, about a patient you pick, or about medicine without a patient. The chip in the ask bar shows which. New visit is for the patient in the room: it starts the recording and ends with the note and the documents. Both sit on the top right; the sidebar has the same two entries.

The sidebar

New conversation
The start screen: pick the patient, ask, or take one of the questions under the functions.
Visits
Today's visits, scheduled and recorded, and everything earlier.
Patients
The list, with how much of each chart Mosaic has read.
Tools
Every function in one place, the documents, the client.

Which patient a question is about

The client sees which chart is open in your practice software. That patient is proposed for a new conversation and for a new visit; the chip in the ask bar names her, and one click changes her. A conversation without a patient answers from the guideline and the literature alone, and says so.

What happened since her last visit?

Answered on the chart of Anna Keller, 47

Since the check-up discussion on 12 May 2026, three things arrived in the chart and one visit is in progress:

Nothing else was added: no new medication, no external reports, no hospital contact. The tetanus-diphtheria booster recommended in May is still open. Medication 16.09.2026 Vaccinations 20.09.2023

Where things end up

A visit summary you shared is on the visit it came from, on the patient page under 'Shared with the patient', and in Documents under 'Shared'. It is one document in three lists. See Where documents live.
