Start a visit

A visit is a conversation with the patient in the room: recorded, transcribed, turned into the note and the documents. Every visit belongs to a patient; the client proposes the one open on your screen.

Three steps

  1. 01
    Who the visit is for

The client proposes the patient open in your practice software. You confirm, or pick another. A visit started without a patient can be assigned afterwards.

  2. 02
    The patient agrees

Once per visit, in plain language, on the tablet or spoken. The practice keeps the record of the consent.

  3. 03
    Record

On the tablet in the room, on the iPhone app, or in the browser of this computer. Recording is visible the whole time; you can pause.

During the visit

Mosaic listens and tells the voices apart. At the same time the client reads what you open on screen: the ultrasound you show, the lab you check, the medication list you change. Both become part of the visit. You can ask a question in the middle; the answer appears on your screen and does not enter the note unless you say so.

When you stop

The note is ready in your structure, every sentence traceable to its passage in the conversation. You read, change and sign. From the note Mosaic proposes the visit summary for the patient, the letter, the codes. The audio is deleted once the note is signed.

Ask about the visit

After the visit, every question is answered with the visit as context: what was discussed, what was decided, what is open. The answer cites the transcript like a document of the chart.

Given her history and today's findings, what should I consider next?

Answered on the chart of Anna Keller, 47

Practice guidelineEuropean Society of Cardiology

ESC 2021: in apparently healthy people under 50, SCORE2 estimates the 10-year risk; risk modifiers such as a family history of premature cardiovascular disease, lipoprotein(a) and coronary artery calcium can move a patient across a treatment threshold. At low-to-moderate risk, lipid-lowering treatment should be considered when LDL cholesterol stays at or above 100 mg/dl after lifestyle intervention. Eur Heart J

Her SCORE2 (moderate-risk region, 47 years, non-smoker now, systolic 142, non-HDL 186 mg/dl) is about 3 %, low to moderate for her age. Check-up 12.05.2026 Lab 08.05.2026 Eur Heart J Three modifiers push upward: her father's infarction at 58, an LDL of 162 mg/dl and prediabetes with steatosis. If the patient was not assigned

A visit started from the phone without a patient sits in Visits with 'no patient'. Assign it with one click; the note and the documents move with it. See Ambient documentation for the note itself, and Visits in the sample workspace.
