He is insured with a statutory fund. The check-up every three years from 35 (Gesundheitsuntersuchung) covers total, LDL and HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose and a urine test; his last one was never claimed, so it can be used now. Everything else on the order is outside the statutory catalogue for a person without a diagnosis, and it becomes a private service. G-BA
Two invoices, not one. The practice bills its own part: the counselling and the blood draw, at the GOÄ rate the practice applies. The laboratory bills the specialised analyses (GOÄ chapter M III and M IV) directly to him; the practice is not allowed to liquidate those, and it does not earn on them. medas
- Practice: consultation GOÄ 1 at factor 2.3, 10.72 €, and blood draw GOÄ 250 at factor 1.8, 4.20 €. 14.92 € in total.

- Laboratory: 28 self-paid markers at the GOÄ factor 1.15. The laboratory quotes the panel on the order confirmation and invoices him after the analysis. Lipoprotein(a) alone is 18.63 €.

- Covered: six markers through the check-up, and the visit today.

German law requires that he agrees to the private service in writing before the blood is drawn, with the price named. The sheet below does that in his app: what is covered, what he pays, and a signature. Nothing is drawn until he has signed. medas
- Six markers covered by the check-up
- Practice 14.92 €, laboratory quoted separately
- Signed in the app on 11 September
